Remembering September 11, 2001

Join us in remembering the lives changed by 9/11.

Remembering September 11, 2001

Today is the 19 Year Remembrance of September 11, 2001. It is safe to say that most people in this country remember the pain, grief, and anxiety that surrounded that day and the many days thereafter. The attack on 9/11 was meant to disrupt the foundations of our society, to bring us level with the evils surrounding our country, but it did not work.

Us Americans have fought and will continue to fight for what our country stands for, but we would be crazy to let this moment pass without taking something valuable from it. In our society today, pain, grief, and anxiety surround us as Covid-19, social injustices, fires on the west coast, hurricanes in the southeast and everything in-between hit our lives hard causing lots of financial pressure and separation from each other. We are being tested as a nation like we were then, and as we reflect 19 years later, we need those same principles of unity, understanding, and mindset that delivered us from the pain, grief, and anxiety of 2001, and apply it to our lives here in 2020.

We ask that you join us in standing firm in the unity of the United States and the ability to continue to grow as people and members of this country. Do not let politics, virus, social injustice, and the fires separate you from one another but rather use the anxiety to bring us all together as humans, and as Americans.

We remember all the lives lost, changed, and altered on that day in 2001. We hope that you join us in honoring all first responders and all the American people from yesterday, today, and in the future. Let’s continue to remain strong as we did in 2001; we will continue to gain strength and come back better than we were yesterday!

Thank you. Never Forget.
